| today i got a check for ruby's.
i worked 27.5 hours.
i should have gotten $76.57
the government took $68.13 for taxes.
i am left with an $8 check for 27 hours of work.
is this just, friends? i submit that it is not.

| so all the work i have done since getting back from mexico has gotten me no where. friday night it was all stolen out of my car. and then my debit card was pretty much raped of all it's money and now overdraft fees. they blew almost $500 in a few hours. and i work 90 hours in the past 2 weeks for abosolutely nothing.
but it's ok. nice people at the bank helped me fix it. nice lady on the phone canceled my cards. nice manager at work offered to loan me money, give me free meals, and hook me up with better hours. and nice people tipped well today during my lunch shift.
see? yes the world may be dark and horrible sometimes, but those people just being plain nice at what they do meant the world to me. so put a smile on at work today, because just being nice might make someone's entire day a bit brighter. :)
